Welcome!

Currently, I work as Analytical Scientist at Breast Cancer Now Toby Robins Research Centre, at The Institute of Cancer Research in London. I specialise in analysing single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data of the tumour microenvironment, collaborating with multiple research teams, mostly in the field of tumour immunology. I’m interested in leveraging computational tools and recent advances to extract deeper biological insight from our datasets.

Previously, I completed a PhD in the MAC-MIGS CDT at Maxwell Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Edinburgh, Scotland. My research concerned PDE-constrained optimization applied to problems in mathematical biology. My supervisors were Mariya Ptashnyk from Heriot-Watt University and John Pearson from the University of Edinburgh.

Our recent work concerns parameter identification for a system of reaction-diffusion equations, which give rise to Turing patterns, using a fast solver.
